Posted by vampire at 08:35 PM on November 1, 2003.
Trying out how to post into this blogring / shared journal. Hope more to join in, and can blog about one thing / chat, instead of each blogging their own.
Jaycylenne, my flights booked for November 15th, noon flight. AirAsia Flight Number AK211. Estimated arrival time, if no flight delay, is at 1.35pm. I really hope there wont be any delay, cos wanna have more time with ya all in KL.

Geek Quiz
Posted by vampire at 01:20 AM on November 3, 2003.
| You are 21% geek |

OK, so maybe you ain't a geek. You do, at least, show a bit of interest in the world around you. Either that, or you have enough of a sense of humor to pick some of the sillier answers on the test. Regardless, you're probably a pretty nifty, well-rounded person who gets along fine with people and can chat with just about anyone without fear of looking stupid or foolish or overly concerned with minutiae. God, I hate you. |

Jaycylenne, u more geeky than me :P

Personality Test Results
Posted by vampire at 02:05 AM on November 7, 2003.
Wow, this test has lotsa questions, not recommended for those who don have time. Here's the results:
Explanation:
Schizotypal
Many believe that schizotypal personality disorder represents mild schizophrenia. The disorder is characterized by odd forms of thinking and perceiving, and individuals with this disorder often seek isolation from others. They sometimes believe to have extra sensory ability or that unrelated events relate to them in some important way. They generally engage in eccentric behavior and have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time. Their speech is often over elaborate and difficult to follow.
Interesting eh? My frens out there, pls comment?
Matrix Revolutions
Posted by vampire at 02:21 AM on November 7, 2003.
I just got back from supper at Petanak market. Had Teochew porridge, with Chai Poh Fried Egg, Salted Vege, and Pork Leg. There were 7 of us - me, Marv, Bev, Maylin, Purdey, Colin & fren.
Before that, we went to watch Matrix Revolutions. Last night, I was asking someone how was the movie, since she had already watched it. She immediately told me the ending of the movie. Wat a spoiler. But not as bad as the one someone told me when watching 'The Others'. Skip reading the rest if you to avoid mild spoilers. Rating - 5/10
My judgement? I'd say Matrix Reloaded is much better. There were more exciting stuff introduced for Reloaded, such as the twins, backdoors, etc. In the 3rd, nothing new. Kinda old stuffs. It's like the 3rd movie is the cool down for the much action in Reloaded. No wonder it was supposed to be one movie, instead of two. Romance plots are kinda long, and to me, unnecessary, esp in the Machine City.
Not Like This - by Vampire

When I suggested a shared blog, I didn't expect it to be like this. Now, it's like just copying stuff from your own blog into this blogring. Defeats the purpose of it, cos you can click "Friends" to do that.
Hope something better can be done to, focus on sth. Make it more like chatting. Even a few lines is enough.
Read the Star Letters to Big Bro this week, under the title - 'Craving For Sex', if I'm not mistaken. In summary, there's this 16 year old gal (so young), who visits gigolos regularly. And have thoughts of raping guys... Haha...
One thing comes to my mind, somebody trying to be funny, and writing in to humor ppl like me. Great job~!

Away from Kuching
Posted by vampire at 04:27 AM on November 15, 2003.
Lots had happened, was busy preparing for living in Penang, and packing stuff there. Tomorow, or rather, in about 7 more hrs I'll be at the airport heading to KL. I'll be staying at Jaycylenne's place for a night or two, before heading to Penang to settle my car loan earlier, so that I have time to shop for my PC. Won't have time to go MLK.
Sad to leave Kch, and settle down in a new place.

Happenings
Posted by vampire at 02:48 AM on November 28, 2003.
Lots have happened since the two weeks I last blogged.
I went to KL and stayed overnight at Jaycylenne's place. Unfortunately, before my flight to KL, I did not have enough sleep and couldn't sleep in the place, as I had to meet Jane up for breakfast, cos she just arrived from NZ that midnight. So I was kinda blur in KL after dinner. Met up with Bing, David, MeiYen, and Boyd. Was nice to see everyone again after quite some time. Again, I wanna thank Jaycylenne for bringing me around here & there.
Then I flew off to Penang. I wanna thank Kevin & Julian for picking me up from the airport and dropping me off at my new house. It's a nice two-storey terrace house in a new area. Dhillion is staying in the same row as I am. Will be watching football with him at 4am later. My room is nice too. Will post pics up soon. I am paying Rm230 for it per month. It's fully furnished. Comes with the network cables for Streamyx. I'm on Streamyx now, and downlink speeds can reach up to around 50KB/s.
On Wednesday, 19th November, I got my car! Will blog more on it later. Was very happy when I got my car. Now I can be independent. Had to spend about RM24 getting around with taxi before that.
After that, I go around in Penang with uni-mates and frens of theirs.
Last Tuesday, 25th November (Raya 1st Day), I went to Ipoh with InnChin to visit CheePan. Bought Ipoh biscuits, visit caves, and Kellie's Castle (sth like Fort A'Famosa). It is an unfinished castle.
And nowadays, I have been playing Ragnarok online. Anyone of you who play, please add me as a friend. I'm VampireM.
Ragnarok Online
Posted by vampire at 03:09 AM on November 28, 2003.
Ragnarok is a fun and cute game. The motto for this game is "Making Malaysia Cuter". It's categorized as a Multi-Player Online Role Playing Game (MMO RPG). Japanese RPG style.
Last year, I played this version in Warcraft III. It is roughly like that. Only more fun and more complicated.
My character's name is
VampireM. I'm a Mage. My level is now 25. Job Level about 17. This is how a mage looks like, but I have long blonde hair, sth like Legolas... hahaha.
A female mage would look like this:
To play this game, you will have to install from the CD which can be obtained FREE from cybercafes or some PC magazines. But, I think, recently, they had released a Christmas version, and you will have to pay for that. Playing is currently free. I donno when they'll start charging users.
Then. you must register yourself at
http://ro.gameflier.com.my. Choose the English version if u wanna play in the same server with me. When you insert details about yourself, the gender you register yourself as is the gender of your characters in Ragnarok Online. So, if you wanna be cuter, my choice would be a female character. Hehe ;) Cos the male users here don look macho (like in Chinese or English RPGs) and not as cute as the female characters.
After you register, run the game, log on to the server (I play on
penril server, the one with less people), and make a new character. You can have a maximum of 3 characters in each server. You can't play any two or three of them at once. Each server is independent from the other. I can't meet you if you're in the Iris server.
You start off as a novice, work up to Level 10, before choosing a Job. You can choose from being a Acolyte (healer), Mage (spell-caster), Archer, Swordsman, Merchant, and Thief.
You fight mostly cute characters like these:
There are lotsa quests to be done. The map is very very huge. I only explored a little part of it. Drop me a line when you're logged on. We'll go fight together. I'm now in the same party as Blindey, batu2pahat, and enhasa. They are Archer, Acolyte, and Thief respectively. Come join, the more the merrier. U Bill & PYeong is also playing too.
