BATU GAJAH: A 20-yr old boy, who failed to get a place in university, was found hanged with his mother's saree at his home in Tmn Perdana in Pusing near here.

K. Manimaran, a class monitor in Upper Six science in SM Sultan Yussuff, was found by his parents hanged from the ceiling fan on Saturday.

His father said Manimaran had been waiting for a reply to his application for a place in university. The letter never came while most of Manimaran's schoolmates managed to secure places.

Malacca Biz Trip

Will be going to Malaccca tomorrow for a few days on a business trip. Saturday will be a public holiday in Penang, cos of Penang Governor's Birthday. So I will not be working on Monday. I had planned long ago to go on a trip to some island - be it Langkawi or Redang or etc... But somehow it is not meant to be...

Hard to get a group to go on a holiday nowadays... And I am getting broke soon... Been spending too much lately... Maybe my holiday might be in Malacca, or Ipoh...
