Genting

I'm back from Genting again. I was there for a 3D/2N trip to gamble, meet people, and enjoy. What to enjoy? It's a city of entertainment.
What I loved most, and surely miss, is the weather there. It was raining, and the temperature was between 11-14 degrees celcius. First time that I had experienced this outdoor temperature. So cool!
Now that I'm back in Penang, it's so so hot~! I'm sweating while typing this. Even though I just came out of the shower.
I had won money there in Genting. Well, my heart jumped a few beats while at it. And I learnt to play a new card game - Carribean Stud Poker. It ain't that hard to play. Someone won the jackpot of Rm395k++ that night.
For the Big/Small Dice game, I can't believe that the dice results were 'BIG' 11 times in a row, then followed by one 'SMALL', and another roll of 11 BIGs. My heart was pounding when playing that. I'm sure the hearts of my frens paused for a moment, when each of them played about 400. Shocking when they come to me to borrow hundreds. :D

Banana is the term used for describing English-speaking Chinese, who don't speak Mandarin. Why? Cos Chinese are referred to as yellow. Bananas have yellow skin, but is white (Causasian) inside.
Argh... I was ridiculed and laughed upon, when I was younger, and tried to speak Mandarin. Then, I didn't really dare to speak Mandarin. My spoken Mandarin is really bad. Luckily I am able to understand basic Mandarin my friends and colleagues use.
Disadvantage of this:
1) People around me normally use Mandarin. Even in company meetings.
2) Harder to communicate with Malaysian Chinese, cos generally, Malaysian Chinese have bad English, and uses Mandarin as the primary language. Meaning khau lui is more difficult. :D
3) Low confidence level.

Finally there's Stimyx in the office.
Currently it is only hooked up to another colleague's laptop. And he is broadcasting the connection via Wireless ad-hoc network.
Later, I think they will move the Stimyx connection to the access point (AP) / wireless router upstairs, but will have a slower connection due to the data encryption and the distance between the AP and my laptop.
Anyway, less wires! Yay! Faster connection! Yay!
But the connection can be monitored. Boo!

Carling Cup Final

Chelsea won MU 2-1 in the 2nd Leg, deservingly. Mourinho won a tactical battle. Managed to hold MU's wingers at bay. Played so so defensively.
So, Chelsea will battle Liverpool for the less prestigious cup. I think the date is Feb 27th... Or somewhere around that.
All the best to the Reds~! It will be a tough battle.

Today is Monday. I am happy that I will be going back in 5 days! Woohoo...
